Calgary, being one of Canada's hubs for Information Technology, has a nearly infinite reserve of IT professionals. Many people are quite surprised to find out that their technical support is, in fact, beyond satisfactory. The only problem for starters is finding these IT support professionals.
There are two good places to start the search, the classified ads and the Internet. The classified ads would be more expedient, since most listings are probably situated in the nearby vicinity. The location, of course, is of little importance when it comes to IT consulting, because it's mostly done via phone, email messaging or chat. Nevertheless, it doesn't hurt to check the papers for contact numbers to call.
If the newspaper is effectual for a narrower search of nearby areas, the Internet offers a broader hunt for IT companies and professionals. Simply typing in "Information Technology" along with the city name and it brings up thousands of options to browse through. The downside, however, is that it would take more time to sift through the search results, let alone having to talk to each of them. In summary, finding IT support in Calgary is generally easier because the place already has a great number of IT support companies. The only real effort would be picking which one to call.
